As necessary as VPN access to corporate resources can be, there are some important security aspects that need to be addressed prior to implementation. Just because a user can not login without the correct password does not ensure that the VPN access will not be abused. As identity theft is becoming more and more of a problem, enterprises will have to deploy mechanisms to ensure they identify cases of identity theft quickly and reliably.
